Howard Creek/Sespe River Ride

Scenic and casual, this ride follows Howard Creek to where it meets the Sespe River Gorge. Have lunch, take a swim, or fish for native trout. This ride can be enjoyed by both the novice and intermediate rider.

Nordhoff Ridge Ride

This breathtaking trail ride climbs 1000 feet above Rancho Grande to Nordhoff Ridge. Once at the ridge you’ll experience an unobstructed view of the Ventura and Oxnard plains as well as the magnificent splendor of the Pacific Ocean and Channel Islands. Once at the top, you can then ride west to the Old Nordhoff Lookout Tower or east to Chief’s Peak. (This is an intermediate level ride)

Sespe Wilderness Ride

Starting at the Lion’s Camp Trail Head, this ride meanders through the Sespe River wilderness gorge providing ample opportunities to stop and swim in one of the many natural pools along the scenic winding trail. This ride can be enjoyed by both the novice and intermediate rider.

What to bring? Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, swimsuit, jacket, and camera.

Riders must be 10 years of age minimum. Each rider, parent or guardian must sign a liability waiver prior to the ride. Everyone 16 years of age or younger MUST wear a helmet.
